The Branson/Lakes Area offers many types of outdoor recreation activities for those inclined take advantage of all of the natural resources and beauty of the Ozarks.
Lakes
There are three large lakes in the Branson/Lakes Area: Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals Lake. Pointe Royale is located on Lake Taneycomo just below Table Rock Dam. Lake Taneycomo is nationally known for its excellent trout fishing and the upper portion of the lake at Pointe Royale is restricted to artificial lure fishing with many trophy rainbow and brown trout caught. Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals Lake are large reservoirs excellent for fishing, water skiing, boating and scuba diving. State Park Marina is located just 4.5 miles from Pointe Royale on Table Rock Lake and offers all types of rental boats, jet skis, etc.
Golf Courses
In addition to Pointe Royale's 18-hole course, there are five other 18-hole courses and two 9-hole courses in the Branson area. We can arrange multiple course packages for you.
Hiking
In addition to the trail which begins at Pointe Royale on the Missouri Department of Conservation property connecting to the trout hatchery, there are hiking trails at Henning State Forest at the west end of Branson on Hwy 76 and at Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area just off nearby Fall Creek Road.
Dewey Short Visitors Center
Located just above Table Rock Dam, both indoor and outdoor nature exhibits are available.
Shepherd of the Hills Trout Hatchery
Located between Pointe Royale and Table Rock Dam, tours and a public park. and fishing area are available.
Horseback Riding
There are two stables in the Branson Area which offer trail rides.
